The community's waste disposal is managed by the City of Greensboro:

Trash is picked up on Monday each week. Collection schedule may change during holiday weeks*

Recycling is picked up every other Monday

Yard waste will be picked on Monday each week

Please stage all items at the curb the night by 7am on collection day. No more than two city approved solid waste containers may be placed at the curb on collection day.

Report any issues through the city's online web tool GSO Collects, or download the app on the iOS or Google Play stores.

Items that should never be put in your trash container include:

• Yard waste 
• Household hazardous waste, such as paint, gasoline, antifreeze, and batteries. Take these items to the HHW Collection Center. 
• Electronic waste, such as televisions, laptops, printers, and phones. Take these items to the HHW Collection Center. 
• Tires
• Wooden pallets
